Automatic eBook Delivery On eBay
More and more people are writing their own eBooks and selling them on eBay and via their own websites. One question I have been asked a number of times by these people is how they can arrange the delivery of their eBook electronically!
There are two very simple, effective methods that cost very little.
Method 1 - Via Ebay
www.ebay.com (not www.ebay.co.uk) has as part is its normal sales system a method for automatically delivering digital products to your buyers. If, for example, you have an eBook to sell, then you simply list the product under ?Everything Else > Information Products? and the option to deliver the item automatically is made available to you at no extra cost, you simply need to tell eBay the location of the file and when eBay sees the payment, your buyer is shown a link to the item, and the information is also emailed to them.
Method 2 - Via PayPal
If you have your own website and want to deliver digital products (like eBooks) atomatically to your customers then PayPal is a great option (and cheaper than using eBay because you have no eBay listing to pay for!).
You must have a Premier PayPal account (which is free), and you navigate to 'Merchant Tools', then 'Buy Now Buttons' - follow the instructions and PayPal provides you with the script to place a 'Buy Now' button on your website - all you need to do is ensure that your THANK YOU page contains a link to the digital product and you have a wonderful automatic delivery system.
Happy eBaying
