Wholesale or not to Wholesale!

There is a lot of talk about the need to find a Wholesaler so that you can make lots of margin on eBay - my advice to novice sellers is hang fire!

Whilst using a Wholesaler is good, because you will get lower prices that retail prices in general, you can still make a great business and excellent margin by buying at retail prices!

To prove this to myself, I did a quick test and went into my High Street to see what I could buy.

A current Top 10 DVD is Al Gores "An Inconvenient Truth". I can get this today for £5 (approx. $10) ? a really great price, and I found this in the first store I went into! If you look a round you can always find deals like this.

Anyway, the lowest Buy Now price I have found on ebay.co.uk today is £8 (approx. $16) - if I make a little on the Postage and Packaging, I have worked out that I can make an 80 percent profit margin (thats with all my costs taken into account!) - which for a retail bought item is a great profit margin. If I sell a few of these, I will start to see a great income coming in.

I just wanted to show you that eBay PowerSellers like to seek out quick and profitable opportunities like these, and you can do it too.

Happy eBaying
